Curtain Durability and Care

With normal residential use and proper care, Tony’s Collection curtains may provide up to two years of expected durability. This is an estimate based on typical indoor use, not a promise of a fixed product lifespan.

Every home is different. Fabric type, sunlight, moisture, cleaning habits, installation and daily use can all affect a curtain’s appearance and service life.

Direct and prolonged sunlight can gradually fade fabrics. High humidity, moisture, smoke, pets, frequent handling and contact with rough surfaces can also affect curtain fibers, linings, seams and hardware over time.

Proper measurements and suitable installation help curtains hang naturally and reduce avoidable strain on headings, hooks, eyelets, rod pockets and hems.

Follow the care instructions provided on the product label or product page. Regular gentle vacuuming with a soft brush attachment can help prevent dust from settling into the fabric.

Before washing or treating stains, check the product-specific care guidance. Improper washing, harsh chemicals, high heat or incorrect drying may change the fabric’s color, texture, drape or size.

To help preserve fabric color, use blinds, shades or a lining where curtains receive strong direct sunlight for extended periods. Rotating panels occasionally can also help distribute exposure more evenly.

Natural and richly colored fabrics may show gradual color changes with use and light exposure. This is a normal characteristic of many textiles.
